First things first – before you create a Business Page you’ll have to create Facebook Business Manager. Don’t worry, this only takes a moment.Make sure you have a personal account to confirm your identity. Go to business.facebook.com and click Create account, then log in your personal account.
Enter the name of your business and you’re done! You now have your very own Business Manager account.Log into it, click on Pages tab and start creating your Business Page.
First you’ll have to choose a Page category from one of the following:
- Local Business or Place
- Company, Organization or Institution
- Brand or Product
- Artist, Band or Public Figure
- Cause or Community
Keep in mind that you can change the category and name later on. Fill out some basic information and you’ll have your Page.
2. Create a cover image or video
Your business Page is now live on Facebook. Now it’s time to create some visuals to make it stand out.
Click on Add Cover icon and choose from image or video. If you decide to go with an image, simply choose from where do you want to upload it: from your computer of the web.If you don’t have a image ready, you can always use tools like Canva to quickly create one.
Keep in mind that your cover photo displays at 820×312 on desktops and 640×360 on smartphones.Another option is to use cover video. Video is an effective way to get your message across.4 times as many consumers would rather watch a video about a product or services than read about it.
Adding cover videos allows you to offer an immersive experience to your visitors, so it’s usually better option than a cover image.Whether you decide to go with a cover image or video, try to upload something that’s visually attractive, fun and enforces your brand.
3 .Fill out all profile information
Now you can fill out your profile completely, by adding information in following sections: About, Company Overview, Story, Contact info and so on.All of these are pretty self-explanatory so you shouldn’t have any problems with them.
Focus on crafting an interesting story that will engage your audience, don’t just list facts about your company.
Assign roles to your page
If you plan to share your Page with collaborators, for example, with your marketing team, so you will have to give them access to the Page.
Here are the roles you can give to collaborators:

- Moderator – Can respond to comments, send messages as the Page, create ads, and view insights.
- Advertiser – can create ads view insights.
- Analyst – can see insights.
Assign different roles to different roles to different people, depending on what you need them to do. You can do that by going to your page settings and choosing “Page Roles” section. Type in the email address of the person you want to add and choose a role for them.
